In between swimming
and watching the Olympics,
I was able to finish my Moda Candy quilt top.
When I started piecing all of the
squares together,
it reminded me of
a rainbow.
So here it is,
my rainbow:
I love how all of the different fabric lines
"live together" in harmony
to create the perfect
scrappy quilt.
The quilt top includes the following 2012 Moda fabric lines:
Eat Your Fruits n' Veggies by Pat Sloan
Simply Color by V and Co.
Marmalade by Bonnie & Camille
Harvest Moon by Kansas Troubles Quilters
Fellowship by Brannock & Patek
Independence Trail by Minick & Lauri Simpson
Tapestry by Joanna Figueroa
Everlasting by Sandy Gervais
Spa by Deb Strain
Little Black Dress by Basic Grey
Good Morning! by Me & My Sister
Juggling Summer by Brigitte Heitland
The Ladies Stitching Club by Oliver + S
Birds & Berries by Lauren & Jessi Jung
ABC 123 by Sandy Klop
Old Glory Gatherings by Primitive Gatherings
Windsor Lane by Bunny Hill Designs
Now I just have to sit down
and quilt it!
Wish me luck.
Until Next Time... Happy Quilting!
It looks fantastic! Isn't it amazing how all those lines go together even though they are all so very different? I really, really like this one.
ReplyDeleteThat is fabulous!!!! I love all the fabrics looking so great together.
ReplyDeleteYou get an A plus for remembering all those fabric lines! Really though I love the placement of all the colors and that you did the 1st two borders in neutral going toward the center:)
ReplyDeleteSo wondering how u will quilt it...hmmmmmm...I will have to come back and see!
Absolutely lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, how inspiring!! Such a mix of colours and lines and styles and yet all together, it just melds into something amazing.
