Quilt Market ... Tour of Rooms (The Finale)

This Little Lady went to Quilt Market

to find a booth (AKA-ROOM)

of her own.

The perfect, MODERN ROOM to live happily ever after in!

Could it be lucky Number 7?

So many things about this "ROOM" just screamed out my name!

I could just look at these delightful  baby photos on the wall all day long!

However...this is where I could see myself spending most of my time:

I tell you, no one does a MODERN sofa like Anna!

Trust me, I would grab that quilt,

wrap myself up in it, drink a cup of tea,

read a good book, and watch TiVo

on that sofa...FOREVER!

How about you?

Thank you coming with me on this search for the

perfect ROOM.

Until Next Time...Happy Quilting!

Quilt Market...Tour of Rooms Continues

Once upon a time,

a Little Girl Little Lady wandered around the aisles

at Quilt Market to find a booth (AKA-ROOM)

to call her own.

The next stop on my quest to find the perfect MODERN Room

led me to this.

Room #6 : Patty Young

My girl Patty did not diasppoint me with her booth!

See the cute knit outfit hanging in the back?

Patty made it out of her new knit fabric

and she wore it to School House!

I wanted to take a nap in this bed,

but her new Potty Doll had already claimed the spot!

and best of all,

Patty came prepared for me to move in!

She put this in her ROOM:

She stole my heart with that one!

Quilt Market...Tour of Rooms Continues

Once upon a time,

a Little Girl  Little Lady went to Quilt Market

in search of the perfect booth (AKA-"ROOM)

to call her own.

Next I went in search of the perfect MODERN "ROOM".

Room #4: Amy Butler

Of course Modern isn't Modern without the delightful Amy Butler!

Who wouldn't want to live in this room?

It comes complete with these beautiful raincoats:

a cute lounge area

Lots of purses, just in case you forgot to bring your own

and the most beautiful rainbow of yarn

Let's continue my search for the perfect MODERN "Room".

Room #5:  Tina Givens

I really wanted to plug in my laptop and have a seat in Tina's booth.

I also wanted to try on all of the clothes in the booth,

but none of them were my size. (Story of my life!)

Isn't the owl SUPER cute? It is part of her newest fabric line, Opal Owl.

Ohhh...willl I ever find the perfect "ROOM" to move into?

Stay tuned...the search continues tomorrow!

Until Next Time ... Happy Quilting!

Quilt Market...Tour of Rooms

Next Quilt Market, I am not going to make hotel reservations

because I am just going to move into one of the

fabulous booths (AKA-"ROOMS")!

Here is a tour of the "ROOMS" that I could move into

and probably NEVER leave:

(Warning this post is filled with photos!)

Sandy's room is bright & cheery!

It even comes complete with bolts of  her new fabric line "Lollipop".

Sandy's sofa looks so inviting! Her outfit even matches her fabric.

Room #2: Bonnie & Camille of Cotton Way & Thimble Blossoms

That chair is the perfect place to sit and read Camille's new book!

and the flowers are so inviting!

If I were to get hungry while staying in their "ROOM",

all I would have to do is walk 10 steps to Bonnie's half of the" ROOM"

to eat the YUMMY chocolate that she brought from her home town!

(note: the chocolate box is next to the  amazing pillows)

However, next door is the "ROOM" that I would have trouble leaving!

Room #3: Fig Tree

See someone already brought my luggage to the Fig Tree "ROOM".

Joanna even put up the "WELCOME" sign.

There are goodies made out of her new fabric line, Breakfast at Tiffany's, everywhere!

There are goodies on the bed

And beside the bed

I would love to hang my stuff up here:

but wait , I would have move these lovely strawberry bags!

And for a little bedtime reading, I could choose something from over here:

Thank you Ladies for giving me so many great "ROOMS" to choose from!

Stop by tomorrow because the tour of "ROOMS" continues.

Until Next Time...Happy Quilting!

Quilt Market.....MODA Style

Minneapolis did a great job of hosting Quilt Market!

There was so much to see and do at Quilt Market

that I hope that I didn't miss anything.

Of course, the awesome folks at MODA did not let me down!

Their theme for this market was: School house

Here are snippets of Quilt Market...MODA Style:

Here are a few MODA celebrities that I caught in the act:

They were super sweet & I forgot to check out what

Market shoes they were wearing!

The gals from Minick & Simpson

and I even caught a quick photo of Mark Dunn!

So many more photos to download and share with all of you.

Until Next Time .. .Happy Quilting

School Is In Session

(Broadcasting from Quilt Market:)

Yesterday Quilt Market conducted Schoolhouse.

This is when fabric designers conduct "schoolhouse sessions"

as a way of showcasing their newest fabric lines

and upcoming patterns.

Here are some of the "schoolhouse sessions"

that I attended:

1. Pillow and Maxfield from Michael Miller Fabrics

2. Joel Dewberry showcased his book, Sewn Spaces.

3. Anna Maria Horner also showcased her book, Handmade Beginnings.

(F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!)

4. This stunning quilt is from Cherry House's new book City Quilts.

(Stunning use of COLOR)

5. Of course, my girl Patty Young did not disappoint me

with her new knit fabrics!

Lots more to see, show, and tell!

Until Next Time ...Happy Quilting!
