How I Spent My Summer (Part 1)

I can't believe that it is already August!

Where did my summer go?

Well, I was "HEXING" it up like everyone else.

hosted a Hex-A-Long

I joined in on the fun a little bit late,

but I did manage to get quite a bit done.

My first post was here.

For awhile I was able to complete one

Grandmother's flower each day.

(I think that lasted about a week.)

So here we are at the end of summer

and this is where I am at:

21 Grandmother's flowers made since June 21, 2010.

I previously had 40 Grandmother's flowers made.

My grand total is 61 Grandmother flowers made.

(427) 1" hexagons used

I am aiming to complete 300 flowers.

So once again, I will be a grandmother

before I get this project done!

Until Next Time ...Happy Quilting

  3. Lovely pictures. Those hexagons are addictive. 61 flowers is quite a lot already. Afer all, they take some time to be made!
