IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS { FABRIC, FOOTBALL, & PAGEANTS}

Lots of

little things made it a good weekend.

First,

I received this awesome package from

my partner in crime,

Vickie of Spun Sugar Quilts.

I let out a happy, little squeal when I opened the package!

It is a sampling of some of the 

yummy fabrics that she now has available in her shop.

The Yuwa Fabrics are smooth and soft as butter!

And if you are looking for low volume print fabrics,

Then more goodness

came in the form of football.

(Yes...it is the South and football is major!)

So sorry for all of the sad faces in Texas

because Alabama came in rolled tide all over the Aggies

and 

then Ole Miss rolled all over the Texas Longhorns

later on that evening.

See...it's the little things, like nail-biting football games,

that can make my day!

The goodness didn't end there....next came the Miss America Pageant

and all of its DRAMA!

We all know that I love a good pageant.

In fact,

I was secretly praying  for beautiful gowns and great talent entertainment.

"Please, please, please let there be tap dancing 

and batons twirling...well batons on fire while twirling would be great!"

And the angels sang

and there was baton twirling and Ballywood dancing!

See it is the little things that make me happy!
