(Sorry about the lame title
but today I am having a case of writer's block.)

Anyway, I have been
hand quilting along
on this little beauty.

For the past week,
I have spent my evenings
in front of the TV
hand quilting away.

One stitch at a time.
Halfway there.

This is the third quilt that
I have attempted to hand quilt.

I have come a long way
since my first project.
I have the feel of the rocking motion
and my stitches are coming out the same length each time.
They are not tiny but someday
the "hand quilting powers that be"
will shine down upon me and magically my
stitches will be tiny.

But until then,
I will love my BIG stitches.

When I need a little hand quilting inspiration,
I turn to these fabulous ladies:

One last sale is still going on...but

  1. How do you like that quilting frame? I've been using a wooden oval one.

  2. it's beautiful! hand-quilting is so relaxing and fun.

  3. Your top piece is so colorful. I love it.

  4. That quilt is so peppy and fresh! And you're halfway done; you can totally make it :) Who wants small stitches anyways? We want it to look hand quilted, not machine done :)
