FARMER'S WIFE SAMPLER QUILT {WEEK #11}

LET ME WARN YOU:
THIS IS A VERY PHOTO INTENSIVE POST!

WEEK #11:

This week I am celebrating!

11 Weeks
 it has taken me
to get to the half way point
in my Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt.

I am making  my Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt
into a twin size...80 blocks.

I have officially made
40 Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt Blocks!

Before I start working on my final 40 blocks,
I am going to
celebrate my work so far:

Yep...I'm falling in love with quilt!

I also wanted to look at all of my blocks
in order to figure out
if I am using
too much of certain colors.
You know...the whole color value thing.

So,
the first thing that I did was separate the blocks into
"color categories"...
basically going off the dominate color in the block-
reds, blues, greens, etc.

Here is how my piles look:

Not very many pinks
because I'm not a "pink" person.

Anyway....
I arranged the block
and gasped:

How could I not fall in love!

You see...when I make my blocks
I just look at my pile of fabric,
grab what I need,
make the block,
blog about it,
and put it away...in a BOX!

I had no idea that it could look like this:

and #8 Bouquet is still my favorite block
{so far}

Stats So Far:

11 Weeks of Farming
40 Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt Blocks made...
