HUGS & KISSES {A STITCHERY PROJECT}

Talk about down to the wire!

I finished the final stitches

on my 

HUGS & KISSES STITCHERY

before dinner last night!

Literally...stitched the last stitch

right before serving the meal..at least I could eat with a clear mind.

You might remember how this stitchery started:

one sleepless night, a pad of paper, and a million thoughts racing through my mind.

Soon an idea emerged

and so did the stitching supplies.

All of the scraps were auditioned from my scrap basket.

I wanted to make the border "wonky" but when I attached them

they didn't look right to me.

So I salvaged what I had made and attached them anyway.

( Note to self:

the next time I decide to do something wonky, make the strips thinner and longer. 

Just a thought)

Now I am off to give Little Person hugs & kisses

and maybe steal borrow some of his

Valentine candy.
