GOING GREEN QUILT {A COMPLETED PROJECT AND WHAT I LEARNED}

 {My CHOOSE YOUR OWN PRIZE GIVEAWAY is now closed & I will draw a winner shortly!}

As I said before in my previous post,
I gave myself permission
to try something new.

I finished my quilt
& I wanted to share a few things that I learned along the way.

MIX & MINGLE {A SCRAPPY PRECUT QUILT TUTORIAL}

MIX & MINGLE {A SCRAPPY PRECUT QUILT TUTORIAL}

FINISHED SIZE: 36" x 56"

The Scrappy Precut Quilt Blog Series was designed to help
quilters think outside the box.
It was designed to inspire quilters to use their precut fabrics to create
perfectly scrappy quilts.

The first quilt in the series is rather simple in design.
I wanted to keep the first quilt rather simple in construction
so that we could focus on using entirely different fabric lines
to make a scrappy quilt.

A GLAMPING WE WILL GO QUILT {A FINISHED PROJECT}

So in between hosting family,
taking care of sick loved ones, a program at school,
and unpacking a house,

I was able to finish the
Glamping project that I started over here.

HEARTS A FLUTTER TABLE RUNNER { A CHARM PACK TUTORIAL}

HEARTS A FLUTTER TABLE RUNNER

FINISHED SIZE: 13 1/2" x 49 1/2"

 Valentine's Day is just around the corner
so I created another quick project that can be completed in a weekend.

It is Charm Pack friendly project. For this project I used Flirt by Sandy Gervais.
(It is now available in my SHOP)
 I also used an "old school" method to make the fabric hearts.
