I can't believe that it is already August!
Where did my summer go?
Well, I was "HEXING" it up like everyone else.
hosted a Hex-A-Long
I joined in on the fun a little bit late,
but I did manage to get quite a bit done.
My first post was here.
For awhile I was able to complete one
Grandmother's flower each day.
(I think that lasted about a week.)
So here we are at the end of summer
and this is where I am at:
21 Grandmother's flowers made since June 21, 2010.
I previously had 40 Grandmother's flowers made.
Theses look just gorgeous! I still don't have the patience for the careful cutting and hand stitching but one day...
ReplyDeleteThey look great and 61 is a lot of completed flowers. Congrats to that! I made my first hexagon last month and I think my count is up to 10...lol
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. Those hexagons are addictive. 61 flowers is quite a lot already. Afer all, they take some time to be made!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! Once I'm done with Yo-Yo's I think I'll turn my attention to hexagons, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Those flowers are too pretty!
