Let me start by saying that
I am a detail kinda gal...
I love details...
I have a memory like an elephant!
However,
I knew that it would happen someday.
The time when
"Mommy Mush Brain"
would take over!
Too many dates to remember....
too many place to be at one time...
so much "stuff"
going on
that I can't remember/keep track of it all!
NOW....
I have to write everything down
or else it is just lost
or forgotten
or never found.
This even applies to my Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt:
I have to write down which pieces are what color!
Yep...
a couple of times
I would sit in from of my sewing machine
frustrated because
I couldn't remember
which pieces went where!
Seriously...
I just cut them out & now I can't remember what I was going to do with them.
Lesson learned...write it down!
I am hopeful that
I will recover my brain power again...soon...now would be good
Until Next Time...Happy Quilting

ReplyDeleteI do that all the time due to I cut and then walk away for a few days. If I don't, I just get frustrated. Lots of my patterns have my scribbles on them.
ReplyDeleteI hate to tell you this but you may never recover the brain! Just go with the flow - and remember that you are not alone!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI write all over my farmer's wife book, too! I'd never manage to finish a block otherwise!
ReplyDeleteI am that way with the Swoon blocks when I make them. I can't allow the instructions to stray too far or I mess that block up. every. single.time.
