You Know You Are A Quilter

You know you are a quilter when

your Little Person comes up to you

and brings you this:

Little Person " Mommy, you lost part of your quilt!"

Hmm...I wonder which quilt he is talking about.

Castle Peeps

Castle Peeps is finally in my house!

My Little Person saw me looking at

and he decided that WE needed

to have it.

It finally arrived today!

The blue castle fabric is obviously his favorite.

See, he claimed it for himself!

He even made a castle to go with his

"Castle Tweep"

(ummm....Little Person wrong thing! Not twitter!)

My Little Person wants me to use right now!

(Some people are so demanding!)

Until Next Time ...Happy Quilting!

BTW-Lizzy, I hope that you like the CASTLE!

a World Cup Hexagon Month

I have decided to dust off all

of my hexagons and join in on the fun.

So here is what I did yesterday:

Hexagons Year to Date (before this weekend):

40 Grandmother's Flowers pieced

Total # of Grandmother's Flowers needed : 300

Yesterday's Productivity: 3 Grandmother's Flowers completed

Too many needed to count!

I hope that all of you will also dust off your hexagons

and join in on the fun.

Until Next Time...Happy Quilting!

I spy a bunch of scrap!

Let me introduce you to my Moda scrap bin,

AKA Scrappy :

As you can see, Scrappy is over-flowing with fabric.

This One Is For Kelly!

I just couldn't end all of Quilt Market

memories without one

last post. This is a really special one to me, so please

forgive me.

Kelly & I have been  friends for quite some time now

and during Quilt Market we had the opportunity

to meet in real life.

We had a wonderful time walking around and chatting about our

favorite subjects (quilts & fabrics).

This was truly the highlight of Quilt Market for me!

So here is a short letter:

Dear Kelly,

I don't remember if you came to my blog first

or if I came to your shop first,

but at that moment a great friendship was formed!

We have shared the good and the bad.

But most of all

you have reminded me to use my wings to fly

and fly I did!

I know that things are in transition for you and your shop ,

but great things are also on the horizon for you!

I will be there watching when you are ready to

use your wings to fly! Cheering you all the way!

Thanks again for the everything!

(Insert hugs, smiles, and lots of tears!!!)

P.S. Studly, thank you for driving Kelly to Quilt Market!

Quilt Market....MODA's Latest Creation

I tell you, the MODA folks think of everything!

At Quilt Market they unveiled their newest creation.

(I think that someone told them that quilters love chocolate!)

I would like to introduce you to the CANDY BAR.

Each Candy Bar measures 2 1/2" X 5 "

They are sold in a candy box.

There are 2 different fabric combinations or 2 different candy boxes.

The dark chocolate combination includes fabric from:

Luna Notte, Hope, Clermont Farm, & Rememberance.

The white/light chocolate combination includes fabric from:

Fandango, Bliss, City Weekend, & Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Each box comes with project ideas for the Candy Bars.

I would personally use the Candy Bars to make a scrappy quilt.

And speaking of Candy Bars, look what I was able to get my hands on:

Stop by tomorrow if you interested in a Candy Bar giveaway.

Until Next Time... Happy Quilting!
